I don't always feed vegetables, but in cases where vegetables are fed, please remember:

• Vegetables are raw unless you are using a squash which may require some cooking to soften the rind.
• Use two or three vegetables per meal if you can.

Here is how to prepare vegetables:

• Simply wash your vegetables, put them into a food processor and chop them as fine as you can.
• If the veggies are not chopped extremely fine (about the size of a flea) you will see them come out in the stools. The finer, the better.
• If you do not have a food processor then you will need to use a hand grater.
• You may find that after using the hand grater that you may need to additionally chop the vegetables with a chopping knife.
• If you don't have a food processor, you might find that chopping vegetables by hand using a hand grater is a real pain in the butt. If that's the case, consider feeding the recipes without the vegetables.
• We really want to keep things simple and quick. So if we start spending too much time chopping vegetables by hand, then we begin to defeat our laziness and I am just too lazy to do that!
• If you see vegetables come out in the stools, then you are either not chopping the vegetables fine enough and/or your carnivore friend will really benefit from FloraZyme LP, a supplemental digestive enzyme, to help digest the vegetables better.
• Chop enough vegetables to last about 3 days if you want them fresh. Alternatively, chop your vegetables and then store them in your freezer and remove as needed.

Put your finely chopped vegetables into a glass container or tupperware container and store them in the fridge if you are going to use them fresh or in the freezer if you want to store them.

• It is best to keep your meats and vegetables in separate containers.
• If one should spoil, you will not have lost everything.
• If you want to use frozen vegetables instead of fresh vegetables, then that's okay. In fact, many will say that frozen vegetables are better than fresh vegetables. The reason why is that frozen vegetables *must* be picked when ripe because once they are frozen, they cannot ripen anymore. With fresh vegetables, they are actually picked unripe and then usually exposed to a gas to make them ripen just before arriving at the grocery store. As a result, fresh vegetables are not usually really fresh while frozen vegetables may offer added benefits due to the fact they are naturally ripe before being frozen. Of course, vegetables you buy straight from the farm or that you grow yourself are an even better idea.

I reminded you on the last page the importance of stretching and ensuring you have good posture while using your computer. Now I know I am not your mother, aunt or grandmother, but as you probably heard them say before, don't slouch — so be a good girl (or boy) and don't slouch!
